Become a medical cannabis patient
First, you must contact a doctor who is registered with the Medical Use of Marijuana Program in MA and schedule a telemedicine appointment. This means that a doctor can certify you for your medical cannabis card over the phone if you have a qualifying medical condition. You can schedule this appointment by calling a registered doctor, visiting the link on our home page, or clicking the button below. A qualifying medical condition according to the state of Massachusetts means anything from anxiety, insomnia, migraines, nausea, and many more to cancer, glaucoma, positive status for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS), hepatitis C, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Crohn’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis (MS), when such diseases are debilitating, and other debilitating conditions as determined in writing by a Qualifying Patient’s healthcare provider. As long as your condition is approved by your qualifying doctor, you are able to get your medical card.
After your telemedicine appointment, you’ll be certified over the phone and have your state registration approved instantly via the Initial Access Program. If approved, you will receive your Initial Access Certification card from your certifying doctor, which acts as a temporary card for 14 days with a 2.5oz limit. This will give you access to BeWell Merrimac that same day!
